More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes

    Hello folks!

Since yesterday I have a problem with my Zabbix Server instance version 5.0, installed from RPM repositories, on AWS CentOS7 (4GB RAM, 2CPU)
I've added few templates to my machines (15 machines in total). I've added only monitoring of Elasticsearch cluster on 2 machines, and MySQL monitor on one, and problem appeared.

I went thru google translator with that resolution:
    original: https://unlix.ru/%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BA-...%D0%B2-zabbix/
    translated: https://translate.google.com/transla...0%25B2-zabbix/

I did not add so many pollers, cache etc as the author, cause author was monitoring 400hosts, I am monitoring only 15 so far, so I increased proportionally up to 1/3 of values presented by the post author, but still it did not help.

Can anyone help me, cause it is quite a lot of checks that are lost all the time...

Hi, first open the Queue details (from the dropdown menu in the "Queue overview" title), then you see where you should start looking for the missing data.

Often the increasing queues for the active agents mean that some agents are not running, or are unable to communicate with the Zabbix server/proxy.

Is it possible that it is caused by change the zabbix-agent to zabbix-agent2? Does Zabbix-agent2 needs some different configuration to make active checks to be working?

I haven't used agent2 yet so you have to check the documentation yourself. But have you checked that the agents are running on the servers and what do their log files contain?
