Zabbix Queue - Timeout While Loading

    All,

Looking for a little help, is there anywhere i can extend the timeout value for the load of the queue page?

the queue will load perfectly fine around 50% of the time, other times i get the following error.

    --
    ERROR: Cannot display item queue.

Connection timeout of 3 seconds exceeded when connecting to Zabbix server "myserver.myserver.com".

Look at your php.ini timeouts, your php-fpm timeout if you use that, and your web server timeouts - 3sec is really, really short - should be at least 30 for sure, but the configs will help, as will the HTTP and PHP logs.

The php.ini setting can be overridden in code but I don't think Zabbix does this (not sure) - our queues used to take a minute or two to load.

      Timeout for item queue

I know this is an old post, but having just gone through this myself and having trouble finding the answer I wanted to repost it.

In Zabbix 3.0 we found the answer for this was to edit the file include/defines.inc.php and increase the ZBX_SOCKET_TIMEOUT from 3 seconds to a higher value.

      I found this documented here:

In the Zabbix v 2.4.5 the 'ZBX_SOCKET_TIMEOUT' also existing in include/defines.inc.php but changing this setting did not helped.
