Can't access Zabbix Frontend after successfull (?) installation

    Hi everyone!

I'm new here and not very familiar with Zabbix. I already tried to find a solution for my problem, but I failed.

I tried to install Zabbix on an Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS server with a Plesk administration. I used this tutorial.

I had no problems during the installation, everything seemed to be fine. When I installed it for the first time, I opened up ''[IP_Adress]/zabbix'' and my browser downloaded a file called ''Download" instead of opening up the frontend. I removed everything from the server and started again. The second time I only got an ''ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE''. The DNS resolving seems to be fine though.

Does anybody have a suggestion on what I should try to make it work?

    Thank you in advance!

    1. Make sure that your webserver properly maps HTTP location (http://address/zabbix) to the actual path to Zabbix front end files on your filesystem
    2. Check your webserver access and error logs for possible clues

      Hi Glencoe,

thank you for your quick answer.

I checked the webserver access and error logs. Everything looks fine.
But how can I check if my webserver properly maps HTTP location to the actual path to Zabbix? Sorry if this is a stupid question, it's just all relatively new to me.

For Nginx: https://www.nginx.com/resources/wiki...server_blocks/ (see root parameter)
For Apache: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/vhosts/examples.html (see DocumentRoot parameter)

I managed to make it work. I deleted Zabbix first and installed it again. At first I got an 503 error on Apache Port 80. But after I enabled php7.4-fpm it worked. Thanks for the help.
