Install zabbix proxy on ububtu 16.04

Hi, I try to install a zabbix proxy on ubuntu 16.04, I run
# wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/5.4/u...u16.04_all.deb
# dpkg -i zabbix-release_5.4-1+ubuntu16.04_all.deb

but when run

# apt update I get the following error:

Too old ubuntu to install 5.4.

I need to install the proxy on 20 servers, now I install 5.4 proxy in one of them using the sources and compiling the proxy, but I want to find an easy way to do it.

Understandable, but, thats what you have to deal with, if you insist on staying on unsuppoerted OS version... It is not possible to keep all needed things suppeorted on those old versions. And then you need to provide everything by yourself, compiling away...

perhaps use docker and zabbix proxy container ?

Thanks a lot for your answer, by the moment I will compile the proxy, on mid 2022 we are planning to upgrade our server's OS
