Zabbix Upgrade PHP 7.2 to PHP 7.4 or 8.0

    Hello all,

I have use zabbix version 6.0. It comes with an php version 7.2.24. However php version is not supported and it may cause vulnerability issues.

I would like to upgrade it from 7.2 to 7.4(support ends of january of 2023) or 8.0(php 8.0 is not supported on zabbix 6.0). I do research but i have' nt found any documentation.

Have you any guidance how to do it and would you suggested to wait new zabbix version 6.2? Thanks in advance

Upgrading or installing PHP is not a function of Zabbix but it depends on your operating system. What is your OS and version?

If your PHP is a supported version and you have installed and configured it correctly, Zabbix frontend is happy.

I don't know CentOS much but here is one instruction: https://www.server-world.info/en/not...am_8&p=php&f=3
