Pushover notifications

Hi guys,

I have been using Zabbix + notifications into Pushover for years now. Everything works and we are very glad to receive it on our phones (and even our smart watches). However these past weeks, the notifications stopped... I haven't had the time to go into it since today and what I noticed in the logs is the following error. I got it also when I "test" the pushover sent button in the Zabbix UI:
"Pushover notification failed : ReferenceError: identifier 'CurlHttpRequest' undefined"

I can't find (for now) a solution for the problem. Any ideas?

Hello guys.
I had the same problem since upgrading from 6.0 to 6.2 (not sure if it was working with 6.2.0, but it was ko with 6.2.1 and 6.2.2).

I managed to make it work again by
- downloading the pushover media file linked by Stathismes from the git
- renaming as a .yaml
- editing and changing its name to Pushover2 (name does not matter)
- changing version to 6.2 and date (I don't know if it matters but...)
- importing it in my zabbix server medias
- re-configuring it with my Pushover API
- changing my actions / users to use this new Pushover

And it's working again

Maybe all is need is to remove the "old" pushover media and re-import the yaml from source, but anyway, I'm happy I have my notfications back

Having the same problem. Looking into https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/...media/pushover of course we see that the template works only up until version 5.4 and needs to be updated in order to be used with newer Zabbix 6.x versions.

Awaiting an update from devs...

As an alternative you might want to check out SIGNL4: https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/signl4.
In the free plan it works similarly to Pushover and if you want more you can also get alerting via SMS, voice call as we well as duty scheduling, escalation and collaboration.
