When using Zabbix agent 2, did you set the setting items such as Server in /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.conf?
In the host's item list, is a red icon displayed at the right end of the item for which the value cannot be obtained? If there is a red icon, move the mouse pointer to that red icon and check the cause of the error.

We used the same zabbix_agent.conf as in the Versions before and as with the 6.0.9 'classic' Agent.

There are no Red Icons in the Items list and no error message.

By default Zabbix agent 2 uses zabbix_agent2.conf instead of zabbix_agent.conf.

@Atsushi: Sorry, I meant we renamed it and use the same configuration for the agent

It seams we found a workaround. We set the Value for RefreshActiveChecks=3600 in our configuration to reduce the bandwith. After we go back to the Default of 120 Seconds, there where no missing values for the agent.ping
It seams each Configuration Check add a Value to the agent.ping item
