cannot write to IPC socket: Broken pipe

Hello,

In my logs I have the message "cannot write to IPC socket: Broken pipe" which keeps coming back.

After a while, I then get the following messages:

zabbix_server [1717]: failed to open log file: [24] Too many open files
zabbix_server [1717]: failed to write [cannot accept incoming IPC connection: [24] Too many open files] into log file

and what causes the error "cannot send data to availability manager service"
and therefore no more info from Zabbix agents among others.

The Zabbix console is still available but without a force restart of the VM, no solution for a return to normal.

Despite my research, no solution to this problem...

Who could help me?

Too many open files... Try to increase the limit ... you can search for "too many open files in linux" and you get plenty of reading, what it means, and how to resolve it.

In unix-style systems "everything" is a file, so fix the file limit first and then see if you have other problems as well.
