Need help with creating custom trigger for large disks

Hi,

I had Zabbix running and deployed on all of my servers (monitoring around 90 servers here..)

But some of the disk trigger need to be customized as some of our server has really big disk (i.e. a terabyte on a single partition) -- some of these disks have 950 GB data, leaving 50 GB which is more than enough for our production.

We had configured general disk alert trigger for 5% as critical, and now we're getting critical alerts because these disk stays at 950 GB.

Could anyone help me out with this issue?

The supplied templates are just a starting point, you've reached the point where your policies need custom rules.

You could full clone the base template, call it "Big disks", and adjust the trigger levels, you could add "And < 50G" to the base trigger so your disk have to be under both a percentage and a space, you could create a space trigger on each desired host with your rule, then disable the default template trigger.

It's an exercise left to the reader :-)
