Give one service higher priority for all hosts

    Hello together,

the windows services discovery actually has one set trigger for all services found on all hosts. Now I want to prioritise a service higher so that we are notified here. I know that I can set this per host as a trigger of the corresponding service, but I would like to have something overarching, otherwise I have to touch every single host.
So basically I want the default setting to remain service discovery and only for a single service I want to set a higher priority. Does that work?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

      Hello,

I've had a look at the site, but to be honest I don't quite understand it.
Can you maybe help me again here, how it should look in my case?
The service should still be scanned and included in the discover-rule. But it should simply be the only one to get a higher priority. I would have expected something like this to be set here:

But that is not possible at this point.

Sorry, but I'm still a Linux beginner and don't yet understand many of the setting options.

In the discovery rule at the "Override" section, you define a condition for changing the importance of a particular trigger.
For example, if the {#SERVICE.NAME} is "bla-bla" , then change the importance of the trigger to "High".
        Details are in the documentation.

          OK, thanks, I'll try that.

If I now want to exclude certain services completely because they simply don't interest me, I can also go this way, right?
So then if the {#SERVICE.NAME} is "blah-blah", then set "Discover" to "No".
Does this simply mean that the service is no longer monitored?

Another option is used for exclusion - "Filter"

Sorry, I have to ask again here. What exactly would that look like?

                  Hello,

first of all, thank you for the feedback.
I have now tried both ways. Once with "override":

And once the exclusion with "filter":

Have I done something wrong here? I still get the warning messages every day.

Thank you in advanced for your help.
