Issue logging in using Active Directory authentication

    Hi,

I have configured LDAP authentication using Active Directory, logs and matches groups successfully when testing. But when I try to actually log in with the same user, it fails with "Incorrect user name or password or account is temporarily blocked." error. Running Zabbix 6.4:

I have double and triple-checked that I am inputting the correct login information and the account is certainly not blocked. Appreciate any pointers on anything that I am missing.

    Thanks

I had the same problem, the solution was change Host field value like this:

    Before: 192.168.32.5
    After: ldap://192.168.32.5

Apologies for the late reply. Had a horrible week. I believe I did try that. I will check again though as soon as I can.

      Thanks

Aftern reading further i found the solution:

Using memberOf and leaving the "Group Name Attribute" empty did the job.

Tested nested groups: does not work, only direkt membership of the users.
