    No data reported applying template with zabbix agent active in Zabbix 6.0 in HA

    Hi everybody,

    I have a problem related with Zabbix 6.0 and the monitoring with the template "Linux by Zabbix agent active".
    I have installed two sever in OL9.2 for the app and another server for the database in OL9.2 as well.
    The app in configured in HA. When I install the agent (version 1) in the server that contains the database and deploy the template "Linux by Zabbix agent". Automatically the data in collected correctly and you can see on the web console. But when I deploy the template "Linux by Zabbix agent active"on the server, the data is not collected.
    I've executed this test on the zabbix server and the data is returned correctly but on the web console it doesn't works.

    I've checked that the ports are available in both directions; form zabbix server to the server I want to monitor and from the server I want to monitor to zabbix server.

    Has anyone an idea about this behavior? Click image for larger version

    In order to perform active checks with Zabbix agent, Zabbix agent communicates with Zabbix server using port number 10051 in the default settings. Have you checked the connection from the Zabbix agent side to the Zabbix server side with port number 10051?

    And did you set ServerActive in zabbix_agentd.conf.

      The communication is enabled in both directions.
      This is the result from the server I want to monitor to the Zabbix server

      The communication is enabled as well.

      In the config file both nodes form the HA are configured:

      Server= IP_node_1,IP_node2
      ServerActive=IP_node1;IP_node_2

      I think the configuration is OK in other case, when I configure the template "Linux by Zabbix agent" I would't work. isn't it?

        Please check if any information is output in the Zabbix server or Zabbix agent logs.

              Is the hostname in zabbix agent config correct and same as in UI? (I think vzabbixdb in this case)

                But in the config file I had a strange character. I didn't realize it. I was making mad.

                Thank you so much!!
