Zabbix Not Alerting for vCenter 7 Problems - Seeking Assistance

    Hello Friends ,

Im a new to Zabbix , I've encountered an issue with my Zabbix setup where it's not alerting me for problems in my vCenter 7 environment. I have successfully configured Zabbix to retrieve data from vCenter, but the alerting mechanism seems to be failing. I'm seeking assistance from the Zabbix community to help me resolve this problem.

    Deployment Info :
    -Zabbix from packages 6.0
    - Two Servers used Web and DB
    - Template used , VMware Hypervisor , FQDN and Guest
-Zabbix config file edit to enable VMware Collector

Please your help with this matter would be appreciated .

Does the account you want to be alerted have at least "Read" permission for the host that generated the problem event?

See the "Attention" box in the documentation: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ration/message

Sorry but... what exactly do you mean with "it's not alerting me for problems in my vCenter 7 environment" ?
Is it, that it never generates any events? (may be data collection issue). Is it, that it is not creating alerts based on those events? (might be, what tim.mooney already pointed)
Do you see actual problems in Zabbix?

VMware template by default does not have any triggers. If you are using it with vCenter. Make sure trigger are showing in Host.

First thank you for your support , second i can see all items assigned to vCenter for both Templates VMware Hypervisor and VMware Guest contain error and status is unsupported . .
          Info says :
Unknown hypervisor uuid. // For items with VMware Hypervisor Template

Unknown virtual machine uuid. // For items with VMware guest Template

https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/vmware there are some triggers present... But compared to items count, not too many..

Here seems to be data collection issue. triggers cannot be calculated as items are not supported... That part needs investigation... Why there are unknown UUID-s...
