    So FilipHajek , did you ever check whether the user has read rights on the host group? You said you would check, but then you posted screenshots of everything except the derived permissions for the user.

    I strongly believe that mackane's response gave you the answer (and cyber has been pointing you in that direction too).

      Hello everyone,

      I have an issue with Zabbix. When a problem is detected it doesn't send alert to my email set as part of the administrators in the media types. All configuration on the SMTP seems fine but i still don't receive any email notification when a problem is triggered. Please anyone walk me through an idea of how to fix this issues.I have checked the media setting- operation on the trigger action it set up correctly. Please advise

        Attached is a screenshot of test done to see if the smtp config is ok. I'm not sure why its not sending any problem reported to my email when a problem is triggered on zabbix.
