    agent-base in vCenter?

According to https://bestmonitoringtools.com/vmwa...er-vm-vsphere/ I have to set agent for VMware,
Does vCeneter have agent of zabbix by default?

I don't want to monitor VMs, I need to monitor ESXis and vCeneter.

Nobody obliges you to monitor only VM, just disable the discovery rule ("Discovery of guest virtual machines" or whatever it is).

I don't see any note on that page, that says you have to install zabbix agent on your vCenter host. Step3 a) instructs you to create host in zabbix and add credentials.. there is nothing about installing an agent...
