Disk Stats

Hello all,

I am using the Linux agent template, in trying to monitor my Linux systems. One thing I am noticing is that the get stats for the disk is not being filled in. I checked to ensure that there is a stat file in /sys/block/sda and its got data. Why is the template not executing or not finding the file? Anyone else see this issue with their Linux systems?

Shooting from the hip.... "get stats" is your "main" item, its contents are redistributed to dependent items and main item data is not saved to save space in DB...

Can I assume that when I have a component: raw that its information is being re-distributed? What I did was look at the stat file and it matched the information that is above Get Stats....so it looks like you were correct.

Yep.. raw data, that gets spread around to other items...
