Get value from agent failed: cannot connect

I am running the server in a docker container. I have added a single host and this is working fine. The zabbix server (192.168.10.11) is however reporting:

Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[192.168.10.11]:10050]: [111] Connection refused

I prefer installing telnet on the zabbix server and then try to use it to make sure the server can reach the agent. telnet <Agent IP or Hostname 10050>
telnet 10.10.10.1 10050
Mostly these errors occur when there is a block in its path. Mostly its your firewall that needs a hole to be punched in it.
If its windows, try allowing the exe through it.

But what confuses me is the host 192.168.10.11 is the zabbix server so why would it not be able to reach itself?

Do you have a Zabbix agent running on the Zabbix server container?

If not, then it is natural that you get an error when trying to connect to the nonexistent agent port.
