About install Zabbix 3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04

Hi,

I just made a fresh zabbix install on Ubuntu 16.04. When i enter dashboard i see "Zabbix server is not running" message below and dashboard says zabbix server value No.

I inspected logs and i can't see any error.

Could you please some one help me.

Agent not running

Probably the zabbix agent is not running on your server.
Test this by running the following shell command:

service --status-all
Result:
[ - ] zabbix-agent
[ - ] zabbix-server

Server might be running, but the agent probably not.

run:

sudo service zabbix-server start
sudo service zabbix-agent start

But after reboot the services might not autostart. Run the following to adjust:

sudo update-rc.d zabbix-server defaults
sudo update-rc.d zabbix-agent defaults
sudo update-rc.d zabbix-server enable
sudo update-rc.d zabbix-agent enable

Thank you for help. It looks works now. Now i have another problem, I installed first agent on another Ubuntu 16.04 and service looks fine. But i didn't see any info on zabbix-server.

Do you have any idea for that?

If you just installed the Zabbix agent on the target,
you do not need to check the status of zabbix-server on that server.

No, i mean server doesn't get any data from agent.

Is the Zabbix agent in the LISTEN state with the IP that the Zabbix server can access?
Please show me the execution result of the following command.

$ netstat -ta

If you see "Zabbix server is not running" then you probably misconfigured server listen port when you were setting up frontend. Or someone (selinux?) is preventing frontend from connecting to server listen port.
