Zabbix Agent Crashes Instantly with no error message

I installed zabbix-proxy-sqlite3 and set the server and the hostname of the device in the config. When I run it, it exits with no error message:

I believe that for sqlite3 it doesnt need me to run anything to prep a database, does it? If so I assume it would have some sort of error message. The documetnation is ouitdated for the proxy, referencing setup files that arent there, just like most of the zabbix documentation.

But according to the developer on this post https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...-schema-sql-gz - sqlite doesnt require any prep and should just work once the config is set up up

Running it as root and without config file? One has to be specially allowed in config (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...roxy#allowroot)
So, shooting yourself in a leg here?

I ended up uninstalling and using docker, and it's running stably, so unfortunately I do not have the log anymore. To recreate my issue you can follow the zabbix instructions on setting up a proxy, found here https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../debian_ubuntu

cyber, actually by default it uses /etc/zabbix/zabbix_proxy.conf unless you specify a config file other than the default one. I can confirm this is the case as it was complaining the host was invalid before I put it in
