    More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes

    Hi,

    I´m facing a really weird situation. Here is my zabbix installation:

    DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
    DISTRIB_RELEASE=16.04
    DISTRIB_CODENAME=xenial
    DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS"
    Zabbix: 3.2
    VM: 3xCPU ; 4GB RAM; 50GB HDD

    Every now and then zabbix stops creating graphs and I get a warning:

    More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes

    I have checked the logs but there is nothing pointing to this issue.
    Right now I´m monitoring 2 Juniper devices!
    Device 1 Applications 4 Items 1445 Triggers 16 Graphs 244 Discovery 1
    Device2 Applications 3 Items 1650 Triggers 14 Graphs 281 Discovery 2

    Can anybody help me figure out what is happening? Right now we are evaluating zabbix but if there a such huge issues with just two hosts, we cannot proceed implementing it for 100 devices.

      check if you have unsupported items under this hosts
      and cancel \ fix them it can cause interuppts and SNMP connection can get lost.

      second - update zabbix_server.conf TimeOut to 30 sec and restart

      see if it helps

              You nailed it! It was indeed some unsupported items which I overlooked. Thank you so much!
              I´ve noticed some other log entries but I´ll open another thread to keep this separated.
