Problem with Slack Alarm Integration

I've got Zabbix 7.2 set up and have it working well. I am now trying to integrate Slack so it sends a message to a channel when an alert is triggered. I've got everything set up and ran a test with the integration which works, but when an alarm is triggered no message is sent. I've followed all the steps in the integration guide. I've also set the Debug Level to 4 and haven't seen any relevant logs to why it would fail.
Zabbix Server v7.2.4
Zabbix Agent2 v7.2.5

I only had to stray from the integration guide slightly. I skipped the global macro config and just put the instance URL on the media type configuration template directly. From there I set up the slack media type for the admin user, and enabled the zabbix admins receive alerts action since it was disabled out of the box.
