Zabbix 3.0 shedule downtime (maintenance)

Hi, i have Zabbix 3.0.9 running and i need to "sleep" some current triggers. When the triggers activate, i configure a maintenance period. This period affects the host that has the tigger but notifications (mails and SMS), they keep sending.

I don't understand why if in my action, i have the condition of send if "Maintenance status not in maintenance" AND "Trigger value = PROBLEM". They keep sending a trigger that is in maintenance..

What i doing wrong?

this is describe in zabbix manual.
Host in maintenance will keep sending alarms if triggers react AND data collection is on.
During maintenance windows, the triggers is still working , but the escalation is off.
In that way, you still have the information, but if you have set escalation (send a mail to "level3" users group by example), these mails are not sent.

You could also disable data collection during maintenance Windows with the effect that you will have missing data in history and in graphs

My problem is that the scalation still working, never stop sending the mails. I try with data collection and without it.

I'm confused why the scalation still working.

Hello sebavf.
To have the mail no sent during the maintenance period you have to configure an action (in configuration/action menu, select triggers).
Normally this action is preset to send mail to zabbix admin.
You could add a condition "maintenance state" "not like" "maintenance"
This should avoid sending mails during maintenance period

in "operations" tab, you could also check the box "Pause while in maintenance".
This should block mail during maintenance, but send them at the end of the maintenance period.
If not check, and if a trigger is raised during maint.period and not return to normal state when maintenance ends, no mail is sent....

Hi benoitalbert, my send mail action is configure with the "Maintenance status not in maintenance" (A) AND "Trigger value = PROBLEM" (B) conditions. But during maintenance period problems keep coming to the mail. It will be a bug of 3.0 version?

The "Pause while in maintenance" is a option that appears if version 3.2, i don't have this option.
