Zabbix 3.0 CPU Load Not Supported - invalid first parameter

Hi,

I'm new to Zabbix and am currently using v3.0 LTS for testing out the features. I am stuck at troubleshooting the cpu load item as zabbix is saying that the first parameter is invalid. I have tried using "percpu" but still not working. Below are the setup details.

Server
Ubuntu 14.04 (Linux 3.13.0)
v3.0.10

Agent
CentOS 6.9 (Linux 2.6.32)
v3.0.10

Hi Allex,

Apologies for the late response. I have solved the issue by adding the IP of the server in the configuration file of the agent. Although my initial problem was the cpu load item parameter, I noticed that the agent was not actually sending any data. Turns out I missed adding the server IP to the ServerActive variable. Then I verified the connectivity, deleted and recreated the cpu load item.

I think the configuration part is missing in the docs.

actually you need to have ServerActive= part configured if you are using the Agent (Active) items, if you have Passive items then you can just go with Server= configuration. The difference between Active/Passive checks is covered in docs -> https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../activepassive

I haven't access to log zabbix "You do not have the permissions necessary to open the file" I have a correct connection with zabbix agent. I have set Server and ServerActive Ip in file agentd.cong .. Host is Avability ..

You have to remove those fields containing '<>'. Triangle brackets means that this field is optional.
Use one of following keys instead:

system.cpu.load
system.cpu.load[]
system.cpu.load[,]
