/root/.my.cnf Permission denied

Good afternoon
I just finished installing the Zabbix Appliance 3.4 and following the documentation: (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...nual/appliance) that states:

"
Root password is stored to /root/.my.cnf file, [B] it is not required to input a password under the "root" account. [/ B]
"
but when I try to access the file to know the password of the Root user I have the following message: "Permission Denied" attached the steps.

can someone guide me as I solve this problem

sudo vi /root/.my.cnf
