Failed to start Zabbix Agent (Ubuntu 16.04)

Dear All,

I need to solve this issue.
Now I'm getting this error in my server, and the errors like these :

root@VN-MBREC-DB-01-CB:/etc/zabbix# systemctl status zabbix-agent.service

Is there anyone can help me ?

What´s in your /var/log/zabbix/zabbix-agent.log file?

Installed from packages or from sources?

The command systemctl status not always shows the full information. You need to issue:

journalctl unit zabbix-agent

So what is the error?

the command couldn't sho anything.

I couldn't this file log under /var/log/zabbix, what should I do now ?

Sorry for mistake,

journalctl -u zabbix-agent

i would reinstall the agent

#remove agent
apt-get remove zabbix-agent

#reinstall agent
wget http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/3.4/ub...xenial_all.deb
dpkg -i zabbix-release_3.4-1+xenial_all.deb
apt-get update
apt-get install zabbix-agent

#edit settings
vi /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf

#start agent
service zabbix-agent start
