Zabbix server 'out of memory' errors

We are in fact using nmon, interfaced with a C program that trap the usefull parameters every 15seconds, and send them to the server.

We tried before using script and the configuration into the agent, but that was asking too many resources on the machine.

nmon is an open source, but the C program is developed by one of my collegue.

It's based on a functionnality of nmon that can be started with an option to output data in a pipe file in place of regular file. The C program capture the data from the pipe and when a useful information is trapped, then it's sent to zabbix.

What would be nice, is to have the functionnalities from other system (like Linux) available in native for AIX.
