      nmon is an open source, but the C program is developed by one of my collegue.

      It's based on a functionnality of nmon that can be started with an option to output data in a pipe file in place of regular file. The C program capture the data from the pipe and when a useful information is trapped, then it's sent to zabbix.

      What would be nice, is to have the functionnalities from other system (like Linux) available in native for AIX.
