PHP Developer (mid-senior)

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Write high quality and easily maintainable code according to company guidelines
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the Zabbix monitoring software
• Be responsible to perform code review and testing, provide technical recommendations
• Mentor and train junior software developers
• Support the whole software development and maintenance life cycle
• Play an active role in shaping the architecture of the code, contributing to its evolution (for senior level)
• Design and implement tests to ensure code quality and reliability

What we expect:

• Ability to participate in design discussions collaboratively with Architects and Developers; ability to understand requirements, overall solution, high level design, common services & frameworks and contribute to estimation of user stories
• Working experience in a similar position 2+ years for mid; 5+ years for senior
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Understanding of database types and their functionality
• Knowledge of PHPUnit, Selenium, and Linux will be considered an advantage
• Experience with Yii, Bootstrap CSS, 3rd party integrations will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in IT architecture solutions and preparation of technical specifications
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of technical English

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 2400.00 to 5000.00 EUR
