Service Delivery Engineer

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Own end-to-end delivery of Zabbix solutions worldwide (remote and on-site)— from discovery and architecture design to implementation, optimization, and long-term sustainability
• Translate customer needs into practical and scalable monitoring setups
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Zabbix environments across different infrastructures
• Support performance tuning and optimization of monitoring systems for customer environments
• Develop automation and integrations using scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and APIs
• Collaborate with Support, Development, Sales teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Assist in troubleshooting complex customer environments when needed
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides

What we expect:

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux system
• Good knowledge of Windows operating system
• Good knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, and SNMP
• Familiarity with SQL, LAMP stack, and scripting (Python and/or Bash)
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
• High level of responsibility, with the ability and motivation to learn and grow professionally
• Very good written and spoken English
• Experience working with platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is an advantage
• Experience working with platforms such as Solaris, FreeBSD, or AIX is an advantage

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 3500.00 to 5000.00 EUR
