I have a bunch of servers, monitored via "Chassis by IPMI" template. All this template does is sent the command "get sensors" to IPMI, fetching whatever sensors it finds including values for triggers...
23 results in 0.0021 seconds.

Why have a mandatory "key" for dependent item?
The way I see, whenever you have a dependent item, it uses the master item key to process data.
Acordding to "Dependent items" documentation (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ependent_items),

trigger dependance "add" button missing
I have a host which relies upon another host to be functional otherwise it will report lots of problems that do not really exist. I believe the dependencies option is for this exact eventuality ?
