Trouble in getting Action working

Hi,
I use Zabbix since version 1.2, i encounter a strange situation :

I've setup a zabbix server to monitor new servers in version 1.8.1

I've got phone notification trough a asterisk server and i didn't setup notifications before (mail, jabber).

I've setup SMTP information in the Admin Tab (smtp server is on localhost), defined an action with all conditions (Serverity a tleast Information, specific group...)

But when I look in the actions tab i can see all the events but the action field remain blank, nothing appear on the smtp server.

Does anyone has this issue on 1.8.1 ?

Does the intended recipient of the alerts have permissions for that host?

Perhaps you could post some screenshots of your Action configuration, and anything else that you feel is relevant.

So i've setup the media type :


Setup my User (Zabbix Admin)


I've configured an action for a specific group and send email to my account



And in the event nothing :




I can't post zabbix_server.log, i don't see anything regarding smtp....

did you build an item and trigger?

Please check your User configeration, at the bottom where it says 'User rights', does the user have rights to the necessary hosts?

Also, on your action you have a condition => Host Group = Asterisk. Is your test device in that host group? Does your user have rights to that host group?
