I can't edit my map

Hello everybody.

I have a problem.
When i want edit my map (add elements, links, ...) i can't see my map.
If i add element, i can see my background image of my map but not element and link.
Also, when i go to monitoring map menu i can see all my map with element, link, ...

Sorry for my english, i'm very bad.

i have this problem since two weeks.

i would suggest trying with 1.8.3 - map editing has been made much more robust in that version

I have the same problem - suddenly no longer displayed when editing the background and the missing links. Grid hosts remained in place, but if they choose - they jump in the upper left corner of the screen. This happens in any browser - Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome. Zabbix version 1.8.2, FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p3. Export maps to xml correctly. I am shocked, what to do, after all cards have only one of the main functions of zabbix for me. Please help!

Answered himself - everything was fine after I discovered the lack of disk space in /var/log - file "messages" has increased up to 8 GB!. After cleaning - everything worked!

you should have an item and trigger in zabbix to monitor free diskspace

I had the same problem, but I know what caused it.

I had a host with a link and a link indicator tied to a trigger. I had made a change to the host, and the specific trigger was no longer applied to that host.

This obviously confused the system.

I fixed the problem by deleting and recreating the link.

this seems to work as expected in current svn head. can you still reproduce the problem with 1.8.3 ?

if yes, what exact steps should be taken ?

Yes had this happen recently on 1.8.3

and when this happens, there are no messages logged in apache error log ?

it happens if I remove an item off a host and a link state is dependent on a a trigger of that item.

if yes, can you give _exact_ steps to break a map ?

hmm....

I can only recreate it with maps created in pre-1.8.3
If I create a new map, I can't get it to happen

interesting. if you check map options, do they match ?
would be great if you could compare previous map and new map in the database, although that would require looking at several tables...
