    pfSence current states

    Hi guys,

Im getting to know Zabbix a bit now, and it's really awesome! Now I wanted it to talk to my pfSence over SNMP, which also works fine, but how do I make it show me the current states? If I choose the item called states, it gives me the maximum allowed states, which I am not interrested in. I'd like it to warn me before it reaches 10k states

If it doesn't show up when you snmpwalk your device [snmpwalk .... | grep -i state] then you probably won't be able to monitor it with SNMP.

Check it's the same community, same SNMP version, same host. Failing that, try and compare a packet capture of snmpwalk and Zabbix to the same host.
