    Graphs in HTML emails...

    Hi,

I have now upgraded to the latest Zabbix 4.2.1 and try to set HTML emails.
And have a question if is possible add to email a graph and map to the email as a pictures or showable link?

    Thanks for help.

You can link to the graph. I don't think that it's possible to show the graph in the email (would be a nice feature though)
Here's a list of all the macro's: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ed_by_location (be sure to use the correct zabbix version)

    You could add a link to http://<zabbix_url>/zabbix/history.php?action=showgraph&itemids[]={ITEM.ID}

I doesn't find any way, even in the macros, how to show (add) the graphs in emails.
Only what I was able is add web links to the email, but with it I have problems too. It was necessary to add to the links the login credentials and after that, It will cut me in some longer links some parts of the link and the link is than not complete and doesn't work. I try to connect to graph page

      Code:
      http://IP/zabbix/history.php?action=showgraph&itemids[]=63205
      over this link:

      Code:
      http://IP/zabbix/index.php?name=user&password=passwd&enter=Sign%20in&request=history.php?action=showgraph&itemids[]=63205
but I receive only a page without any content while it will remove me this part of the link:

      Code:
      &itemids[]=63205
And this happens by more pages too, And I can put this only as links to the email and not as picture or something to directly to see in email body. And I have the same problems with pictures, when I try to show it in emails and use the links from the zabbix server.

Maybe they are some bugs as it is a full new feature.

Have you tried looking at Grafana ? It allows you to export dashboards to PNG

Thanks for it, I will look at it, but isnt Grafana a competitor to Zabbix? :-)
It will be nice to have graphs and dashboard like in Grapana.
