Question about upgrading RPM

hi all,
I am using RPM version of Zabbix 2.2.3. I have just updated the rpm to 2.2.5. I would like to ask if new version having database schema changes, will the rpm upgrade auto change it as well?

I am planning to deploy zabbix as production, so I would like to know using rpm / source version in long term.

There are no upgrade SQL scripts anymore - database upgrade is performed by the Zabbix server/proxy.
