In my company we only work with LTS version software; and most server OS is Slackware 14.2, which has only PHP 5.6 available. PHP 7 is for Slackware Current. Will I have to wait to release Slackware 15 to install Zabbix 5?

The minimum version of PHP for Zabbix 5.0 is PHP 7.2.
Unless you're comfortable using PHP 7.2 from some other source (like compiled yourself), then you will have to wait to install Zabbix 5.0 until your preferred OS distribution has it available. -
