Hello ZBX Community,
i would like to ask about if its possible to setup a specific zabbix proxy case:
We currently have the problem, that there are couple of specific devices, where the numbers active tcp/smmp (3x / 1x) sessions is strictly limited
by the device and there is no current workaroundin decreasing the current session count, otherwise there would be no issue having 2 Zabbix Servers
actively running.
Is it possible to setup a proxy cluster of for example 2-3 proxies, where one proxy is active with its host connecetions and the other proxies
being in a standby state while having no active connections to these hosts? Maybe this little image may clarify what i need.
There may be only 1 SNMP connection active to the Host devices, in case of a downtime of 1 proxy another proxy steps in with its snmp session.

I stumbled over a Zabbix blog, maybe this is the solution i need?
https://blog.zabbix.com/how-to-setup...rations/12092/
Is that py script that was used to switch proxies in a scenario where the active proxy goes down available somewhere?
I'm open to any hints or better suggestions.
Thanks ahead and have a nice day
cheers Vussey
