How to Change Zabbix Appliance FrontEnd Language...

    Hello community,
I'm in Zabbix Appliance 5.0 LTS and I'm desperately looking for how to change the language of the Frontend/https ! (English To French)
The French option is available on the GUI but it is grayed out
And I can't find any information about it for the Appliance versions...
Thanks in advance if you have the solution !!!

    Hi!
You have to install additional locale on your Zabbix server. Don't forget to restart Apache (Nignx) after that.
    Example for RH and Apache:
    dnf -y install langpacks-fr.noarch
    service httpd restart

      Hello,
Thank you Vladimir for your feedback!
What do you mean by "HR"?

I think "RH" is "Redhat". If your appliance uses a RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) based OS, you will need to install langpacks for the locale you want to use and restart the php-fpm service.

              Hi Atsushi,
Indeed RH must mean Red Hat! Thanks.
The appliance is given in CentOS 8, I think CentOS is red hat, no ?
Sorry, I'm not a linux pro...

CentOS is a distribution that rebuilds the RHEL source, so it is basically compatible. Most of the operations for RHEL can be used as is.

Maybe you don't see Spanish in the language pull-down? If the percentage of translations is low(now 43%), you cannot select the language to display. I encourage you to join the Spanish translation team so that you can choose from the menu.

                    Localize Zabbix UI and Document:

If you set the display value of the es_ES line in the file /usr/share/zabbix/include/locales.inc.php to true, you will be able to select it from the pull-down menu.

Zabbix web-interface still is not totally translated to Spanish. Currently only 43% of strings are translated: https://translate.zabbix.com/es/zabbix-60/. That is why you can not enable it.

It worked for me with this command:
                        dnf -y install langpacks-en.noarch
Thanks a lot to you !
