With the release of Zabbix 6.4, OOTB template modules were removed and are no longer available.
We can see that the "module" directory is absent in the Zabbix Git repository.
These template modules often complement some production templates and are very helpful in monitoring specific system components, where there's no need to monitor multiple aspects of the system.
For example, the "Linux by Zabbix agent" template monitors multiple resources of a Linux system, which may not be necessary in every case. So, templates like "Linux memory by Zabbix agent" or "Linux filesystems by Zabbix agent" offer a more limited monitoring approach that may come in handy.
After searching the documentation, I was unable to find any reference to this change, neither in the "What's new" topic for version 6.4, nor in the "Template changes" topic.
Has anyone else found any references to the removal of these templates?
