    Two triggers disk space

    Hello everyone!
    I have 2 triggers designed to warn of disk space:
    1 - warning trigger that is activated with 10%
    2 - high trigger that is activated with 5%.
    However, when the disk space reaches 5%, both 2 triggers are active, which is normal.
    There are a possibility when the trigger 2 (5%) is activated the trigger 1 (10%) is deactivated?

    Best regards,
    Breno Padovan

    Hi Breno,

    If I understood you correctly then please see documentation section 6. Configuration > 3. Triggers > 3. Trigger dependencies

    I just tested this on dummy log files and it works.

      Hi Zalums,
      Thanks for the feedback.
      But these triggers are in a dicovery rule, is a Trigger prototypes.
      How I do then?

      Best regards,
      Breno Padovan

        Two triggers disk space

        Hi Breno,

        This feature was added to Zabbix v3.0 (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...on/whatsnew300) Section 5.9

        5.9 Dependencies between trigger prototypes

        While defining trigger dependencies has been a Zabbix feature for a long time, doing the same for trigger prototypes (defined in low-level discovery) was previously not possible.

        Following a popular request, ability to define dependencies has now been implemented for trigger prototypes as well. To define dependencies you go to the Dependencies tab in the trigger prototype form (similarly as for real triggers).

        A trigger prototype may depend on another trigger prototype from the same low-level discovery (LLD) rule or on a regular trigger.

        A trigger prototype may not depend on a trigger prototype from a different LLD rule or on a trigger created from trigger prototype. Host trigger prototype cannot depend on a trigger from a template.

          Brenoacp, I'm facing the same situation. Did you find any solution?

            A work around

            @brenoacp

            I made a work around changing my trigger.

            The trigger 1 check if the disk spaces are less than 10% and higher than 5%. So, if the disk free spaces reach the trigger 2 (less than 5%) the trigger 1 receives the OK status.

            I think that could be functional work around to our problem. What do you think?

              Hello everyone,
              I will perform some tests today with Zalums suggestion using the dependence of trigguers there inform you;

              @Vini.santoro, I tried to create a triguer using the form:

              {Template OS Windows Default:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0)}<10
              and
              {Template OS Windows Default:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0)}>5

              But not getting success, I returned the following error:
              Incorrect trigger expression.
              Check expression part starting from "0 and {Template OS Windows Default:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0)}>5".

              Best regards,
              Breno Padovan

                My Trigger

                @brenoacp

                Here is my trigger to inspire you:

                Trigger 1 - Lees than 1% in 5 minutes
                {Template OS Windows:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].min(5m)}<1

                Trigger 2 - Less than 5% in 5 minutes, but more than 1%
                {Template OS Windows:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].min(5m)}<5 and
                {Template OS Windows:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].min(5m)}>1

                By the way.... I'm using Zabbix 3.0.

                  Perfect Vini.Santoro
                  Yesterday performed tests with this trigger that posted here and it worked.
                  I was creating this trigger on a server with Zabbix 2.2. After upgrading to 3.2 the trigger was created and works as and waited.

                  Thank you all.

                  Best regards,
                  Breno Padovan
