    Upgrading 6.4.7 to 6.4.8

I followed the steps in the Documentation but that ended up being upgrade from 6.2 to 6.4. Does anyone have the steps required to upgrade ZABBIX 6.4.7 to the new 6.4.8
After I followed the documented steps, it still shows 6.4.7 version.

    Thank you

What OS? Are you using packages?

Upgrades with a version, any 6.4.x, are just update the packages and restart the services. Did you update the frontend package? Where are you seeing the 6.4.7 version?

Solution I will try that. LenR I am on Ubuntu 22.04. I went to the release notes https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../debian_ubuntu and followed that. but nothing happened.
I am just trying to get ZABBIX 6.4.7 to update to 6.4.8 the apt upgrade mainly did Ubuntu I installed 6.4.7 through the method on the ZABBIX site - to do a full install on to Ubuntu. Following these steps https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...ysql&ws=apache

I cannot seem to find the way to now just run an upgrade on 6.4.7 to the new version that was just released 6.4.8

I followed the upgrade instructions ( first link) and the dashboard still shows 6.4.7 as the ZABBIX version
Was hoping there was a simple way to run the upgrade

I really appreciate your feedback. Looking at the web site i found that the releases are all under https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.4/u...main/z/zabbix/
Not under the zabbix-release folder.. that is still dated Apr 19-2023 Under the zabbix folder has all the versions of each module, showing 6.4.8.

If I have to use this folder https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.4/u...main/z/zabbix/
Do I need to download each one for Ubuntu22.04 and install them? WHY do they not just have a simple upgrade package?

                    You are confused.

This is the REPO, valid for all versions 6.4 including the most recent 6.4.8

Wellington - So you were able to update to 6.4.8? I am sorry to ask, but can you tell me how you did it? I used the zabbix-release folder and it did not upgrade to 6.4.8 - it stayed at 6.4.7 The reasons I wrote above is the DATE on the files in that folder. Why would they be dated March 2023 when the new release was October 2023. That is why I am confused. I followed the document and it did not update it. So I figured they had not updated that folder. I would GREATLY appreciate knowing what you did to get to 6.4.8

As I already had Zabbix 6.4.7 and the REPO, the only command needed is:

                        Code:
                        apt upgrade
Confirm which versions are available for your system/repo.

                        Code:
                        apt search zabbix-
To see the current version of your zabbix-server, use the command:

                        Code:
                        zabbix_server -V

Wellington, I really appreciate your sticking with me.. I tried to wget the file, etc.. and still no luck. The install I did was following the steps on the DOWNLOAD page for this setup.
Does that require a different method to update?

                              Sorry I couldn't help more.
As for my system, I use Ubuntu with an ISO downloaded from the official website without modifications.

You said you followed some steps on the Download page, try to remember and follow the same steps.

If it is a Custom Ubuntu Distro, check if other Repos are not disabled by default and activate the Zabbix REPO.

And as I mentioned before, do the checks:
                              apt search zabbix-
                              apt info zabbix-server
                              apt install zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-apache-conf zabbix-sql-scripts zabbix-agent

                              and other checks.
                              Sorry I couldn't help more.
                              Good luck in your tests.
