Recovery notifications being sent despite action trigger not really happening

I have set up a Zabbix trigger to monitor a charge controller, specifically to detect when it transitions from day to night mode. I have an action to alert me if it remains in night mode for 24 hrs. This would mean the solar panels are not properly connected and would warn me accordingly. Every day, they switch to day mode and then at sunset they go to night mode.

Despite saying the condition has to last 24 hrs, I am getting a daily recovery alert each time it leaves night mode and goes back to day, even though 24 hours hasn't passed yet.

    Code:
    [B]Problem has been resolved[/B] at 06:47:33 on 2023.11.16
    [B]Problem name:[/B] Charge State Night
    [B]Problem duration:[/B] 13h 14m 0s
    [B]Severity:[/B] Warning
    [B]Original problem ID:[/B] 1241

You can see that I got a recovery notice and the duration was just sunset to sunrise. I want it to wait 24 hrs before it alerts me that there is an issue and that has to be the case before getting a recovery notice. Where do I fix my Action -> Trigger config?

      Hey there

I had strong sense that I had similar problem solved on forum but really struggled to remember how it was achieved. Had to backtrack my own posts in forum
Check this one, should be the solution you are looking for.

Thanks for the info. I also posted on reddit and got some more answers (https://www.reddit.com/r/zabbix/comm...spite_warning/)

This is what I went with for the trigger expression ... it'll take a day to know obviously.

min(/Morningstar ProStar PWM by SNMP/charge.state[chargeState.0],1d)=3 and max(/Morningstar ProStar PWM by SNMP/charge.state[chargeState.0],1d)=3
