Fresh Install Server not running Error

Hi all,

I have a clean install on Ubuntu Bionic Beaver and I am not able to get the server running.

Web interface shows:
Zabbix server is running NO localhost:10051

When I restart from command line, I get :
Job for zabbix-server.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status zabbix-server.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

I read the post about SELinux, but does that pertain to this version?

I just want to get this up and running as a POC.

Is there a vmware preconfigured image anywhere that can be used for testing?

awesome. I will try both. thanks... the docker image says not ready for production, but I assume it functions well enough for a POC?

Sure. I have pointed you to the latest version, pre-4.0 . If you like, you can try 3.4

https://github.com/zabbix/zabbix-docker/tree/3.4

The reason is, 4.0 will be LTS, while 3.4 is not. So, for near future deployment I'd recommend pre-4.0.
