How can zabbix be collecting a higher network speed than the card supports?

First of all, our items are not configured as they should be, as the unit for outgoing and incoming traffic is Bps, and there is no multiplier 8.

But despite this, it is collecting in Bytes per second, because on an X server with 1000Mbits / s speed eth0, there was a collected value of 200MB / s (200 mega bytes / second), which is equivalent to 1.6Gbits/s?

Our items are not suitable because we migrated Zabbix from version 1.8 to 4 and, to keep the histories, if we changed the item to have the multiplier 8, this would affect the histories and consequently the graphics, unless there was a way to convert all values recorded before changing the item.

Hmmmm my boss just told me that the item type is Numeric (float) and the zabbix 4 template is Numeric (unsigned). But is it really because of this? Would this 203 be a smaller number if the type was float?
