How to monitor Apache Tomcat with Zabbix Java Gateway installed on the Zabbix server

Hi all,

I want to monitor the Apache Tomcat server with the template Apache Tomcat by JMX. But I'm not sure if my configuration about hte Zabbix Java Gateway installed into the Zabbix server is correct.

How can verified it ? And how can use it to monitor Apache Tomcat server ?

The Zabbix Java Gateway works as a kind of a "proxy". It needs to run somewhere, and for smaller environments having it installed and running on the same server as the Zabbix server makes sense.

With that background in mind, have you read the section of the documentation on JMX monitoring? https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...jmx_monitoring
