Zabbix missing Graph data
We had Zabbix server and proxy setup running for 2 years without any issues. Recently we faced a massive storage issue which affected all of our virtual environment .But once that was fixed everything was back on track and just to make sure I logged in the Zabbix console to check and found that Zabbix graphs were empty after a certain date in Sep. I can see the graph producing data before September for the past year but nothing after Sep. Doing some investigation I was able to find that the proxy(Active) server was not connected to the zabbix server for the last 2 months.
But my proxy server is up and so is the Zabbix server. As I am new to Zabbix could someone tell me how I can check the connection between them ?
Or what could be the reason the the proxy server is disconnected. Is there some basic troubleshooting that I can do ?
