Is there a quicker way to update Item Interval's?

    Hello Forum,

I want to increase the update interval for items in a template. I would full clone the template to make a new one. On the new template is there a quicker way to update the Item Interval or do I have to go into each item and change the interval?

    Thank you.

Edit your clone, go to Items, select each item by check box then do Mass Update. The update interval can be updated there (see screengrab below.)
Also, change the interval in Item Prototypes and all the discovered items will reflect the new prototype interval.

You could probably export the old template to one of the export formats (XML, YAML, or whatever) and then use regexes or search-and-replace in an editor to modify the appropriate field. Once you have the template fixed up, import it under a new name.

Hello tim.mooney and thank you for this reply.

I had thought of doing this. But, for example, I exported the template 'Windows by Zabbix agent' to a YAML file. I searched the file for the interval or for 1m (as an interval) and I couldn't find where in the YAML file the interval or each item is set? Where in the YAML file do I find the interval for each item so I can change it and import the template back into my Zabbix (under a different name).

        thank you.
