    Hi al.o,

Thanks for your return. Yes, after doing what you suggested, it worked. However, I need to login into the web interface to plugin start showing alerts.

So there goes one important question. When I use plugin is there any relation between it and the web interface? I mean, in the initial version if I use the same user in both of them, the plugin couldn't login and receive alerts. Seems like the web is the priority. Now, maybe because of cookies and the URL for both of them is the same, I think that plugin "losts" itself and I need to login into the web to make it work. is that true?

      Hi fdcsantos,

you are right. In order to open the Web Frontend and make the plugin work, you have to open the web front end from the plugin. In this way both use teh same session.

I'm studying the session management of FF in order to understand if there is a way to separe the two sessions.

In the mean while i should add a link to the configured zabbix url in the pop-up menĂ¹... Do you think it should be usefull?

      regards,
      al.o

        Hi al.o,

Thanks for your return. Well, I think the link suggested is not the purpose right now. However, it's interesting for a later implementation.

For while I prefer that you make your study of FF session management a priority and maybe post a new release. If you would like me to help in someway I'll be glad to, ok? (I'm not a developer, but as an end user, I can test it for you).

          Version?

          Hello,

On zabbix front page there is a link to the plugin - to an old version that does not work in recent versions of firefox.

In this thread there is a newer version linked.

Perhaps a good idea to update the zabbar project page and zabbix.com first page?

          /B

            Hi,
Version 1.2.4 work perfectly with Firefox 4, you must just change in the .XPI the max version of Firefox in install.rdf --> em:maxVersion="4.*"

              Hi all!
I'm trying to deploy this beautiful add-ons on FF4 Ubuntu 10.04 64bit but it fails.
              Errors:

              Warning: Field [favid] is mandatory
              Warning: Incorrect value for [action]

              any ideas?

I had the same issue, upgraded zabbix server from 1.8.1 to 1.8.4, issue fixed.

                Good luck

                              Hi michalz,

Thanks for your reply. Can you please tell me what is your test environment, because it didn't work here.

                              I'm using:

                              Zabbix 1.8.5
                              FF 6.0
                              Ubuntu 11.0.4

                              Thanks in advance.
