password for sudo -s -u www-data

HI Martin
thanks for your quick response , i tried same steps at GitHub the link you sent, but when run sudo -s -u www-data asking for password i could not resolve that but I used different and i did complete the patch even i change the path still i am getting the Paths in the Mib. I iwll check the log but in the mean time if you can help me to resolve the password for www-data will be great.

Zabbix 2.0.6 --- Please Help

HI I have patched successfully but under SNMP builder in the MIB: area i only see the directory , explained in attachments
where i am missing !!!!!!
web server log is empty
please help too much

FIXED :For me in order to populate the MIB: list i have to move all MIB to mibs root directory for me that is /usr/share/mibs and add an extension .mib with all files and Boom It worked .
but Question Here : do i have to move all mibs files from all folder to mibs root folder ? some of them has same same like IF-MIB in cisco and ietf please advise!!!!!!!!

ERROR in web server log

Please any have idea i am getting following web server error messages.

SOLVED

I just removed all the mibs from the default directory and uploaded manually form the upload option in snmp builder and every thing work great no a single error in web server log

to upload cisco mibs for some reason it didn't work form me then i follow Cisco upload instruction and it worked

I have question if some one can help me , in my case i have to get info about Cisco 1250 AP active Client so i need to add CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB and i followed instruction @

snmpbuilder for Appliance 2.0.8

Hi,

can someone please tell me in simple steps how to install snmpbuilder2.x into the ZABBIX 2.0.8 appliance ......
It worked fine in 1.8.
Now in 2.0.8 I get an empty OID tree (I followed all the steps mentioned in this thread).
I'm using the OpenSuse ready-made appliance, not CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu.

Edit:
When I do a "inspect element" in my browser of the empty OID Tree, these 2 errors are shown:
1. Uncaught ReferenceError: DynTable is not defined
2. Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'jstree'

This is the farest as i can get on 2.2.0

It would be nice if snmp builder works on 2.2.0 as you can monitor Virtual machines also. Tried a fresh instal of debian + zabbix 2.2.0 but still the same. So i'm thinking about uninstalling zabbix and install 2.0.9 as snmp builder works much better on that build.

I have managed to get this working by fixing up the code - Import MIB still fails but I can browse SNMP mibs and use this to add items to templates now (as it was in 1.8.x) There have been several API changes in Zabbix since the original release which broke the snmp_builder

Start with this version installed with your Zabbix setup - instructions are included - https://github.com/atimonin/snmpbuilder

From Zabbix root:
The following files have to be fixed to get this to work:
/include/menu.inc.php
/include/page_header.php
/snmp_builder.php
/jsLoader.php

The diffs including my fixes can be viewed at http://pastebin.com/iXYsZBVY

I hope this helps others out, just make sure you start with the snmp builder 2.0.5 from github and then edit the files I indicated and add my fixes (or use patch)

MIB Upload

To fix the "Import MIB" just takes a few changes.

Go to /include/views/administration.snmp_builder.php

Change line 36 from:
$mibForm->addItem(makeFormFooter(array(new CSubmit('import', _('Import'))), new CButtonCancel()));
to:
$mibForm->addItem(makeFormFooter(new CSubmit('import', _('Import')),new CButtonCancel()));

MIB import error

CentOS+zabbix 2.2.1 + patch 2.2.x

when i try import MIB, i get error
