Hello,
I run both on my virtual machine thats true. One is windows 7 machine with that mib browser and the other one linux with the zabbix server.
I downloaded the mib from the zabbix server to the windows 7 machine so its the same mib. I wanted to check if the mib is shown correctly in other browsers.
or what do you mean?
Kind regards,

Your zabbix server can get SNMP data from this hosts ? If the zabbix server for some reason (for example network permission... or ACL) cant get data from host... SNMP-Builder not will work !Adail Horst

Hello,
you mean the SNMP-Builder only then shows the OID when you put in a Host that can get the Data from the SNMP device?
Yes I have that here:
I cannot see the OID but I can add the Item and it will be displayed in the template.
But the browser is supposed to show the OID's right after the Host is added and can get the data via snmp
And for example the mib browser I use in windows doesn't need a host but still shows the OIDS'?
Thanks for the help!!
Kind regards

Hello,
do you have any idea if I can see a log somewhere?
I have imported a mib but I cannot see any content of the mib but the upload was successful. Any idea if I can enable error logging somewhere to see what the mistake could be?Comment

I've loaded Zabbix Extras and had no problem doing so. I went to imort a mib for the APC 8841, but the process errored out with the below error. Is there supposed to be some sort of special folder?
Command: cp -f "" "/usr/share/zabbix/extras/snmp-builder/mibs/powernet414.mib". Message: cp: cannot stat '': No such file or directory
I have verified and the directory structure is there.Comment

Hello spaww,
can you provide me the whole source code you have used for snmp builder?
As you got it running on 2.4 I would like to test some stuff.
Or did you just use the latest code from KakersUK and modified it to get it running with 2.4? I think you got more stuff working as create graph works.
Or is https://github.com/SpawW/snmpbuilder/archive/master.zip the latest version?
Thanks a lot!Last edited by makemeasandwich; 22-06-2015, 12:12.Comment

has anyone fixed the problem with the tables not displaying the oids correctly?
If there are table and you click on an OID in the tree " No value for this instance avaible" arrives but it works and ireasoning can show it.
Some how the builder has a problem with tables? Was it always like this or just with the newest zabbix version?Comment
